LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Back-to-back home wins have the Aviators back on the right side of the win-loss column. A 4-0 victory over the Burlington Bees gave the Aviators their second consecutive victory and second win of this four-game home stand.

Lafayette was the only team to touch home plate. They put up two runs in both the fourth and sixth inning. An RBI double from Brandon Daniels scored Tanner Craig and started the scoring. Daniels would also score an unearned run in the fourth after an error from the Bees catcher pushed the runners up a base. Mike Snyder would tack on two more runs in the sixth inning after hitting a two-run homer into left field. The home run was Snyder's first of the season and the 18th of the season for Lafayette.

Lafayette's defense was just as strong, if not stronger than the offense. Starting pitcher, Jackson Danelley, earned his first victory of the season (1-0-1) after pitching 7.2 innings surrendering three hits with eight punchouts in 25 batters faced. What was even more impressive was the game's pace of play. Both teams pitched a combined, nine, 1-2-3 innings. Lafayette opened the game by seeing a minimum of three batters in the first four innings.

Lafayette improves to 17-21 and will welcome in the Clinton Lumberjacks to Loeb Stadium for the final two games of the home stand. The first pitch will be thrown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 15th. Lafayette will be filled with a celebration on Friday as Loeb Stadium will be celebrating Hispanic Heritage night, where the Aviators will dawn specialty uniforms in honor of the event.
