Goats Break Out the Brooms in Series Finale against Alton

JACKSON, Tenn.—After an hour and thirty-minute rain delay on Saturday night, the Rockabillys got their fourth straight win, beating the River Dragons 8-7.

The offense stayed hot with five Goats hitters collecting at least one RBI. Nicho Jordan had an outstanding night, walking three times and going 2-2 in his at-bats with a double and a triple. He also scored twice and had an RBI.

Danton Rinehart started on the hill for the Rockabillys. He pitched a solid four innings of two hit, two run ball while striking out four. Will Schnepf came in for relief and struck out five River Dragons in two innings of work. Ethan Orwig and Will Ripoll finished the game out for the Goats, throwing an inning a piece.

On June 11th, the Rockabillys will host their first Texas Roadhouse Family Sunday against the O'Fallon Hoots. Fans will also be able to enjoy the Kids Korral.

The last contest of this homestand and the final game of the series against O'Fallon is on Monday, June 12th . This will be the second Military Monday of the summer in which all veterans and active military members can purchase general admission tickets for only $1.00.

The Goats begin a five-game road trip on Tuesday, June 13th, in Cape Girardeau before returning home on Monday, June 19th, to face the Burlington Bees.
