Goats Roll Past Dragons 6-4 in Final Game of the Road Trip

JACKSON, Tenn.—On Saturday night, the Rockabillys ended their road trip with a victory over the Alton River Dragons 6-4.

Danton Rinehart started the game, throwing an impressive seven innings off three run, four hit ball. Will Ripoll, who pitched one inning of relief, got the win for the Goats, and Josh Furtado threw the last inning, striking out three Dragons hitters and allowing no runs.

James Denten and Carter Vrabel led the offense with Denten hitting a two-run home run in the top of the sixth and Vrabel going two for four with two RBIs.

The Rockabillys get the day off on Sunday, June 18th, and return home on Monday, June 19th, to face the Burlington Bees. It will be Military Monday in which all veterans and active military members get $1.00 admission.

On Tuesday, June 20th, the Goats wrap up their two-game set with Burlington, and Domino's Pizza presents the Zooperstars. Special guests like Harry Canary, Tommy Laswordfish, Clammy Sosa, and Shark McGwire will entertain and perform synchronized dance routines, acrobatics, tricks, and comedy for lots of fun and laughs.

The Rockabillys will play again at home on Thursday, June 22nd, against the Cape Catfish. This will be the second Throwback Thursday of the summer, featuring $2.00 prices on 16 oz. domestic beer, 16 oz. Coca-Cola products, hamburgers, and hotdogs.
