Rockabillys Lose to League-Best Catfish 9-1

JACKSON, Tenn.—On Throwback Thursday night, the Goats were defeated by the Cape Catfish in what was Cape's Prospect League-best eighteenth win.

The Rockabillys had eight hits to Cape's nine. However, they were only able to push one run across courtesy of a Catfish wild pitch allowing Griffin Cameron to score. Cameron also had a double in the contest, and Dylan LaRue recorded both a double and a triple on his way to a two for three night.

Will Schnepf had a rocky start for the Goats, going four innings while allowing six earned runs and four hits. Thomas Greeson pitched four solid innings of relief. He struck out four and gave up two hits and no runs. Ethan Orwig threw the ninth inning, surrendering three runs on three hits.

Next up for the Rockabillys is a road matchup with the Catfish in Cape Girardeau, Mo., on Friday, June 23rd. The Goats come back to Jackson on Saturday, June 24th, to begin a three-game series with the Thrillville Thrillbillies in what will also feature a postgame performance by Typsy Gypsy, the second Extra Innings Band of the season.

On Sunday, June 25th, the Rockabillys host Thrillville and the baby goats of the Tractor Supply Kids Korral as well as feature another Texas Roadhouse Family Sunday.

Monday, June 26th, is the game that many fans have been waiting for in which the Goats and the Thrillbillies will go absolutely bananas! Tickets are selling fast, so fans should claim theirs before they're gone.
