Rockabillys Offense Explodes in Run-Rule Victory over Thrillville

JACKSON, Tenn.—The Goats started the homestand off with a win against the Thrillville Thrillbillies that ended in run-rule, walkoff fashion when Carter Vrabel scored on an error in the bottom of the seventh inning to make it 15-5.

The Rockabillys lineup got it done, putting up 15 runs on 14 hits. Mason Krznarich, Griffin Cameron, Dylan LaRue, and Aydan Hamilton each had multi-hit nights. Krznarich hit two doubles while Cameron had a triple, an RBI, three runs scored, and three stolen bases. LaRue collected four RBIs and a double, and Hamilton had a breakout night, going three for five with a homerun, a double, and three RBIs.

Danton Rinehart and Roman Smith combined to throw all seven innings. Rinehart got the start, throwing five innings and allowing five runs on six hits. Smith shut the Thrillbillies down with two scoreless innings.

Next up for the Goats is the second game of the series with Thrillville on Sunday, June 25th. Fans will be able to enjoy the baby goats of the Tractor Supply Kids Korral as well as another Texas Roadhouse Family Sunday.

Monday, June 26th, is the game that many fans have been waiting for in which the Goats and the Thrillbillies will go absolutely bananas! Tickets are selling fast, so fans should claim theirs before they're gone.
