Rockabillys’ Losing Streak Extended to Eight Games after Defeat by Catfish 10-3

JACKSON, Tenn.—On Saturday night, the Goats lost to the Cape Catfish 10-3 in the final game of their road trip.

The Rockabillys' offense matched their three runs with only three hits. Centerfielder Griffin Cameron accounted for two of those hits as he had a two for four night with a double and a stolen base.

Starter Will Schnepf got the loss, throwing five innings and giving up six runs. Juwan Fitch allowed three runs and four walks in his 1.2 innings of work, and Jake McCutcheon pitched the final 1.1 innings for the Rockabillys, surrendering one run on two hits.

Next, the Goats take Sunday, July 30th, off before playing at home on Monday, July 31st, against the Catfish in the final Military Monday of the season. All active and retired members of the military will be honored with $1.00 admission, and there will also be a salute to our season ticket holders and player host families.

On Tuesday, August 1st, Jackson faces Cape in what will be First Responders Night at the park. The Rockabillys salute and honor all our first responders with $2.00 admission. Swing Check Baseball is also being recognized with $5.00 admission for anyone affiliated with the organization. Fans will even get to enjoy the Tractor Supply Kids Korral.
