Goats Drop First Game of Series against Thrillville 15-5 in Seven Innings

JACKSON, Tenn.—On Friday night, the Goats lost 15-5 in seven innings to the Thrillville Thrillbillies of Marion, Ill.

Harrison Freeman started on the bump for the Rockabillys, throwing three innings and allowing three runs. JD Klug took the loss after pitching 1.2 innings in relief and surrendering seven runs on three hits and four walks. JJ Gray hurled the final 1.2 innings and gave up five runs.

The Goats' offense had five hits to match their five runs. Designated hitter Michael Bell went two for three with two RBIs, and Cole McCallum, Joseph Hufstedler, and Brett Blankenship each collected an RBI in the contest. 

The Rockabillys' final game of the season will be on Saturday, August 5th, in the series finale against Thrillville.
