Rockabillys Score Three Runs on Three Hits in Loss to LumberKings

JACKSON, Tenn.—On Friday night, the Goats got beat by the Clinton LumberKings 7-3 for their third loss in a row.

Center fielder Nicho Jordan and third baseman Carter Vrabel accounted for all the Rockabillys runs in the game with Jordan hitting a two-run double in the top of the third and Vrabel hitting an RBI single in the ninth.

Danton Rinehart started on the hill for the Goats, walking seven LumberKings hitters in his four innings of work and allowing four runs. Thomas Greeson threw the next four innings and surrendered three runs while walking four.

The Rockabillys finish their road trip on Saturday, July 1st, and Sunday, July 2nd, against the Burlington Bees and the O'Fallon Hoots respectively.

The Goats return to Jackson on Tuesday, July 4th, to face the Cape Catfish. After the game, fans will be able to experience the biggest Fourth of July fireworks show in Jackson presented by H&R AgriPower.
