Owls Rule the Night as Rockabillys Lose 8-1

JACKSON, Tenn.—On Military Monday night, the Rockabillys dropped the final game of the homestand 8-1 to the O'Fallon Hoots.

The Goats hitters continued to struggle, pushing only one run across and getting only five hits on the night. Mason Krznarich doubled in the second inning to score Carter Vrabel, who had two hits in the contest.

The Rockabillys arms didn't get it done either. Noah Pridmore started the game, throwing 5.2 innings and allowing five runs on eight hits, including one homerun, while only striking out five Hoots hitters. Hayden Collins pitched the final 3.1 innings. He struck out eight and gave up three runs and three hits, one of which was a mammoth three-run homerun by Hoots second baseman Tyson Ludwig.

On Tuesday, June 13th, the Goats hit the road and play the Cape Catfish, the team with the best record in the Prospect League at ten wins and no losses. From there, they will play the Alton River Dragons on Thursday, June 14th, before heading to Springfield, Ill., to face the Lucky Horseshoes on June 15th and 16th. The Rockabillys will close out the road trip with another game in Alton on Saturday, June 17th.

Jackson will get a rare off-day on Sunday, June 18th, and on Monday, June 19th, they will begin a three-game homestand, featuring two games against the Burlington Bees and one against the Cape Catfish. The first game against Burlington will be Military Monday in which all veterans and active military members can purchase general admission tickets for $1.00.
