Week Two Players of the Week Announced
Prospect League announces the ArmCare.com Pitcher of the Week and the Hitter of the Week for the second week of the 2025 season.
MAHOMET, Ill. – The Prospect League is proud to announce the Players of the Week for week two of the 2025 season from June 3 to June 9.
The Week 2 Hitter of the Week is Caleb Clealand from the Alton River Dragons and Snead State Community College.
In 3 games and 13 at-bats this past week, Clealand hit .615 with a league-leading 3 home runs, 9 runs batted in, and 17 total bases to go along with 8 doubles, 5 runs scored, and a 1.879 on-base + slugging percentage.
Clealand hit .331 in 42 games this spring for Snead State with 39 hits, 34 runs, and 31 RBIs.
The Week 2 ArmCare.com Pitcher of the Week is Ryan Daly from the Thrillville Thrillbillies and the University of Illinois.
In 1 game started and 6.0 innings pitched this past week, Daly recorded a 0.00 ERA with 2 hits, 0 walks, and 7 strikeouts to pick up a 1-0 win-loss record.
Daly pitched in 13 games this past spring for Illinois, working 29.0 innings on the mound with a 1-2 record, 28 strikeouts, and a 8.69 ERA.
