TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Dans pounded out 12 hits en route to a 8-0 shutout victory at Bob Warn Field against the REX Sunday afternoon.
Keenan Taylor (Parkland College) was three-for-five on the day, including a double and triple. He drove in three runs while scoring two himself. Others with doubles included Cam Swanger (St. Louis University) -- with two RBIs, Bryce Chance (Mississippi State) and Will Carpenter (Wichita State).
The Dans pitchers shut out the Rex, allowing just three hits and walking three others while striking out 12. John Gassler (New York University) pitched four innings of relief to earn his first win of the season.
The Dans have won their first five games of the second-half after claiming the first-half title in the Wabash River Division. They've won 14 of their last 16 games.
