In the Midwest, playing for gridiron trophies such as the Illibuck, Floyd of Rosedale, and Paul Bunyan’s Axe add to the excitement. Similar traditions spill over into collegiate summer baseball with a collection of unique rivalries and traveling trophies among Prospect League teams with more developing each season. The teams involved have more to play for than just a win in the standings.
