Coach in the Prospect League
Coach in the Prospect League
How do I coach in the Prospect League?
The Prospect League office does not oversee the hiring of field managers or coaching staff for its teams. Member clubs manage all coaching hires individually. Open positions are typically posted on the League’s Team Work Online page.
Coaches interested in positions within the Prospect League may contact individual teams via the email addresses listed below.
General rules are outlined below, but all Prospect League personnel who deal with players are urged to review the appropriate NCAA rules, specific to baseball and by level, by visiting www.ncaa.org.
NCAA coaches may not coach players from their respective school or players currently playing for junior colleges. Junior college coaches may not coach players from their own school.
Prospect League team officials who also work for an NCAA institution may not work with student-athletes from their institution. Said official(s) may work in administrative areas but not on or off the field in a coaching capacity.
