Prospect League Partners with ArmCare to Deliver Player Health and Performance

MAHOMET, Ill. – The Prospect League, a premier collegiate baseball summer league with 17 teams across seven states, announced a new partnership with ArmCare, a leading App that monitors the health and improves the performance of players.

ArmCare gives customized training for baseball players' arms based on individual strength and range of motion data. Described as a "pitching lab in your pocket" the system also allows each player to adjust his daily throwing volumes based on arm strength with ArmCare's daily throwing recommendations. 

Each Prospect League team will have an ArmCare Assessment Package to measure player strength and fatigue level. Every player in the Prospect League will receive a code to create an account and access ArmCare's Key Metrics and Customized Training to track individual training and enhance health and performance.

"Partnering with ArmCare will provide our players, particularly pitchers, with additional resources to aid development," said Prospect League Commissioner David Brauer. "Maintaining proper health is vital during the summer season and ArmCare addresses that need while provides technology that can help pitchers become better on the mound."

The partnership includes naming rights to the League's weekly and annual Pitcher awards, which will be known as the "ArmCare Prospect League Pitcher of the Week" and "ArmCare Prospect League Pitcher of the Year" throughout the 2023 season.
