Prospect League Announces Partnership with Baseball Notes to Aid Player Training

MAHOMET, Ill. – The Prospect League, a premier collegiate baseball summer league with 17 teams across seven states, announced a new partnership with Baseball Notes, a website filled with programs and training aids to help players of all ages.

Baseball Notes will sponsor the Prospect League's weekly hitter award, which will be known as the "Baseball Notes Bulletproof Hitter of the Week" during the 2023 season. Baseball Notes' Bulletproof Hitter is one-of-a-kind training with over 35,000 students aimed to help players stay positive during adversity and improve both mental health and performance.

In addition, Baseball Notes provides training aids, such as the Brum Bands and Towel Bat designed by former Major League hitting coach Mike Brumley and used by several MLB all-stars. Baseball Notes is also known for its creative advertising and social media posts and will develop a customized song for each Prosect League Bulletproof Hitter of the Week in 2023.

As part of the partnership, all Prospect League players and coaches will receive complimentary access to Bulletproof Hitter confidence training and discounts applicable to all Baseball Notes programs and training aids.

"It's exciting to partner with Baseball Notes as another step forward in developing and supporting our players," said Prospect League Commissioner David Brauer. "The programs developed by Clint McGill, a former player himself, focus on the mental side of the game, a critical area that is often overlooked in player development. This mental resource is a tremendous confidence builder that can benefit current Prospect Leaguer players and aspiring Prospect Leaguers alike."

"Partnering with the Prospect League is something I'm really excited about" said Baseball Notes founder and former NCAA Division I and Minor League player Clint McGill. "Collegiate summer baseball is such a special time in a player's journey.  And while it's a lot of fun, I know that pursuing big goals comes with a lot of stress, self-doubt, worry and more.  Our Bulletproof Hitter training gives players simple skills to combat those emotions so they can not only play their best on the field - but just as importantly - to keep their mental health in a good place on and off the field.  It's a resource I wish I had at that age.  I love that the Prospect League is making mental health a priority for their players and I'm excited to introduce our trainings to the guys!"

The Prospect League season begins May 31 and continues through its best-of-three championship series in August. To learn more about Baseball Notes training aids and programs, visit www.baseballnotes.com or follow on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
