Prospect League Announces 2025 Schedule
The 2025 Prospect League schedule is here! Baseball is back on Tuesday, May 27, 2025!
MAHOMET, Ill. – The Prospect League proudly released its schedule for the 2025 season today. The League's 62nd year of baseball will feature 18 teams for just the second time as the new Quincy Baseball Club returns for 2025.
2025 Opening Day is slated for Tuesday, May 27, 2025, with all 18 teams in action. The 2025 season will again be split into a first and second half with the first half concluding play on June 27th and the second half beginning on June 28th. The 2025 regular season will conclude on July 31st.
The 2025 Prospect League Champion will be crowned following the regular season with the same playoff format used over the past four seasons. The playoffs will begin with four winner-take-all division championships followed by two winner-take-all conference championships and will conclude with a best-of-three league championship series. The playoffs are slated to begin on Friday, August 1st and conclude on Friday, August 8th.
The 2025 season also includes the return of the Prospect League All-Star Game with the 2025 All-Star Fest hosted in Springfield, Ill. at Robin Roberts Stadium on July 8th.
