TOURNAMENT SEEDINGS
Seedings for the 1994 CICL Double Elimination Tournament are used to determine home team for each tournament game
Seedings are determined on the basis of overall winning percentage. Tiebreakers are (in order) head-to-head competition, head-to-head fewest runs allowed, and fewest runs allowed for the season. If a tie still exists, a coin flip will determine the higher seed.

DANVILLE REGAINS TOURNAMENT TITLE: Since the inception of the CICL Tournament in 1989, only two teams - Danville and Springfield have won tournament titles. Once again, Danville and Springfield met for the title with the Dans cruising past the defending champions 10-3 to finish the tourney with a 3-0 record. The Dans gained their title-game berth by edging Fairview Heights 4-3 with a run in the bottom of the ninth inning and Springfield 4-1 with three runs in the bottom of the eighth. This year, the tournament was at one site with Danville serving as the host. The Dans had the third best batting average in the tournament (.300) and worst fielding percentage (.933), but the Dans pitching staff had three complete-game victories and a 1.33 ERA. The next lowest team ERA was 2.78 by Fairview Heights.
