Peru, Ill. - 2022 Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp left-handed pitcher Noah Schultz continues his rapid rise up the professional ranks with an invite from the Chicago White Sox to big-league camp during 2025 Spring Training at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Arizona.
Schultz, who was drafted 26th overall by the Chicago White Sox in the 2022 MLB Draft, ranks as the #16 Prospect in all of baseball, the #1 Left-Handed Pitching Prospect, and the #1 Prospect in the Chicago White Sox Farm System according to MLB Pipeline.
In 115.1 innings and 33 minor league games, Schultz has a 2.03 earned run average with 153 strikeouts pitching for the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers, the White Sox Low-A affiliate, the Winston-Salem Dash, the White Sox High-A affiliate, and the Birmingham Barons, the White Sox Double-A affiliate across two professional seasons.
Shultz, originally from Naperville, Illinois, spent the 2022 summer with the Pistol Shrimp appearing in 6 games and recording a 0.93 ERA in 19.1 innings with 37 strikeouts and a 0.78 WHIP.
